Global M&A’s Warsaw office was founded in 2002. It has played a major role in a number of high-impact projects for leading domestic and international institutions.

Our highly qualified team of senior professionals has diverse backgrounds in blue chip organizations and both domestic and international experience (McKinsey, PwC Corporate Finance, WestLB, Innova Capital etc.). We concentrate on providing superior assistance in the areas of corporate finance and strategy, M&A, financing, and alternative asset advisory and management services, with the focus on Poland and other countries of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).

From the sector perspective, our major areas of expertise include the Polish & CEE technology, media & telecoms (TMT), energy, financial services and business services industries. We also assist on projects in other industries that meet certain criteria.

    Rafal Nowakowski specializes in deal origination, transaction structuring, corporate finance and investment advisory services. Rafal's special areas of expertise include complex private and public debt and equity raising transactions, M&A transactions, Corporate Finance and alternative asset management advisory. Prior to becoming a co-founder and partner of HCA, Rafal was a managing director and partner at Innova Capital, a leading Central European private equity firm.

    MSc in Economics from Poznan Academy of Economics; certificate in Corporate Finance and European Law (ERASMUS); INSEAD alumnus; Securities Representative (SFA) and certified accountant (ACCA UK).
