John O'Dore is a Managing Director at Meridian Capital. John has more than 20 years investment banking experience in Asia with Credit Suisse, Merrill Lynch and Bank of America. John has lived in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore and brings an extensive network of business contacts throughout Asia across a broad spectrum of industries. John most recently spent 13 years at Credit Suisse where he was Head of Credit Risk Management for North Asia. In that role he helped manage a large portfolio of investments in middle market companies, particularly in China and Korea, and also helped manage a significant leveraged finance portfolio. John was a Board Member of the Risk Management Association, Hong Kong Chapter.
A Seattle native, John is a graduate of Seattle University's Albers School of Business where he majored in Finance. John is conversant in Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese.
